!!!!

Well, guys, it's been a while. But I have a good reason:
Facebook has taken up 20 percent of my life. Honestly, it's so much fun to meet your friends since some of them aren't really artists (neither am I, to tell the truth) and it's open, but closed. Now, I'm not playing FarmVille or any of that crap, but I've used FanCheck (my girlfriend always beats everyone on my fan list :P).

The other 80 percent is split in half. School, obviously, is invading the small barrier I was safe in. It's felt like there hasn't been a single day where I haven't had to turn in a project or homework assignment (OBVIOUSLY). And I've been rehearsing for my school's production of Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street (I'm Pirelli, then ensemble). What in God's name was Sondheim smoking? This music is so hard. Now, I know it's a horror movie set to music but god almighty, the counterpoint, the harmonies, the lyrics, the high notes! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! And then I have a "theatre-dance piece" called Aftermath to rehearse for right after Sweeney's over with. It was written by my acting teacher who's teaching me the really helpful Meisner technique...

So, what's been going on with you guys?

My scanner doesn't work. There's only one scanner in my house, and it belongs to my sister. Therefore, Dum Dum Pops is over. Finished. Until I can get my scanner fixed, Dum Dum Pops is over.

Hey, y'all

My, my, my... What a long, treacherous road it's been to 2009. I'm in The Producers in my school, I'm (finally!) switching out of Honors Algebra, and Dum Dum Pops is coming back. But, I digress. Happy (rather belated) New Year, everyone.

The thing with Dum-Dum Pops is, it's always been a sideline. I could never draw the characters in action due to my schedule, chorus and math were always first priority. So was acting. I never got a role in any shows due to my age, inexperience, and of course, BUSY ASS SCHEDULE. I had to go into tech, and I needed to bring along my All-State music (didn't get in) when I was off-duty. I got into Singing Sons, which is a great opportunity, but (again) this complicated my schedule. Oh yeah, and to top it all off, I was this close (indicating the space between the letters A and S on the keyboard) to flunking Honors Algebra I (ended up with a C on the 1st sem). So, to put it simply, 2008 was The Year Without a Dum. But, I did get to go to Disney World for Candlelight, so that was a plus.

2009, however, is gonna be different. I'm (finally!) in a role in The Producers as a blind violinist, an accountant, an old lady, a storm-trooper, a cop, and a prisoner (don't ask; Mel Brooks is a strange man). I'm switching out of Honors Algebra, so that's the end of that (thank god). But, most importantly, Dum Dum Pops is coming back. You'll get to see some new looks for some of the characters, I've had to re-name Allison (her new name is Charlotte), and I've added a new character named Paul Berman. They're the same characters, the same comic, but completely different. I've had my Motivational posters keep you company, but if you want one, I'll make one. Just ask.

In short, happy new year, wish me luck, I'll keep you posted, and expect the new DDP sometime before Valentine's Day.

That is all,
Mr. Gosh.

Oh, Shit...
